REGISTRATION FOR 2018 is closed

We will take a limited number of registrations by mail
(we understand that some birders don't have access to a computer or aren't comfortable with online payments)
, but the envelope must be dated on January 10th or thereafter, and include the printed form  PRINTABLE FORM   FOR MAIL IN REGISTRATION ONLY

(a link will be available on that day as well) We try our best to accommodate everyone that attempts to register, but space is limited and we will create a waiting list once the spots have been filled.  The website and our Facebook page will be updated once the quota has been reached.

Please keep in mind that registrations are open to
 birders 16 years of age and
 older and please no pets!

You will receive confirmation by email
(if possible) of your registration.  An information package including your ticket(s) will be mailed to you approximately
3 weeks before the Festival.

Unfortunately we are not able to refund your payments, however you may
 transfer your registration
to someone else.


A friendly reminder  ***Because we are birding in     Northwestern Ontario in the spring, we must remember that the weather can 
be snowing one minute and then 
sunny and warm the next
...sunscreen or mittens...who knows? 

***Washroom facilities are available
at all locations

***Professional medical personnel will
be available during the Festival
as well as qualified first aiders 


DAY ONE    MAY 26, 2018
This day is our kick-off day.  Everyone will meet at the Dorion Community Centre, on Dorion Loop Road,  at
 8 AM
,at register, then enjoy a great buffet breakfast.            
 If you were one of the early birds,
you will join us here

If you were an "earlybird" at Hurkett Cove, you will join the rest at 8 at the Centre.
After a brief welcome, birders will board their respective buses and begin the day of great birding  at Hurkett Cove and Ouimet Canyon Provincial Park.

 Lunch will be provided and the day will continue. At the end of the day we return to the  Community Centre and have a chance to bid on various items in a silent auction enter a raffle, mingle, and share the day's experiences. A delicious buffet supper will be served, followed by a review of the day's bird list, guest speaker presentations, and attendance prizes.

DAY TWO    MAY 27, 2018

The morning will be spent on the Eagle's Nest Conference Centre trails on Bible Camp Rd.    
  Birders will m
eet at the Eagle's Nest at  8:00 a.m. for registration and a light breakfast,
before heading out on the trail.
Lunch will be served back at the Dorion Community Centre followed by a wrap-up and attendance prizes.  Please refer to the map on the Maps and Loding page to familiarize yourself with the location.
